Onyx Park Cherry Blossom Petal is an elite blending of the Cherry Blossom and Jipsey families. She is a double linebred granddaughter of Betro of Classlochie - Reserve Supreme Champion of the October 1979 Perth Sale, sired by the internationally famous Pathfinder Sire Dunlouise Jipsey Earl E161 from Dunlouise Cherry Blossom Essie E170. She carries 65% of the genes of Jipsey Earl and 56% of the genes of Betro of Classlochie.


Her dam is a full sister to the dam of Dunlouise Cattle Baron who won the admiration of cattlemen from around the world while on display at the 2009 World Angus Forum.

 

She is thrice double-bred (tracing eight times) to the renowned Rambler of Newcroft, carrying 21% of his genes.

Dunlouise Cattle Baron was an international favorite while on display at the 2009 World Angus
Forum in Canada. He went on to serve as a herd sire at Sinclair Cattle Company and later at Allen Creek Farm in the USA.

Betro of Classlochie is pictured here as the Reserve Supreme Champion of the October 1979 Perth Sale where he sold for 16,500 guineas and recorded the second highest 400-day weight on performance test.

His sire is the great breeding bull, Betro of Classlochie, and he shares the same sire of his powerful grandam, Cannahars Jipsey Yoko Y485, with a pedigree which also traces four times to Rambler of Newcroft, twice to Rockie of Woodview and once to his full brother, Woodview Rorie, and five times to the Bethrothed family.
