Onyx Park Jipsey Spott is a blend of the Jipsey family and the Ruths of Tillyfour. His sire is Roberto of Newcroft and his dam is Dunlouise Jipsey Girl G233 who is the result of mating the Genex proven sire Dunlouise Cortachy Boy D137 with a maternal sister to the dam of the Genex proven sire Dunlouise Jipsey Earl E161.

 

He carries 20% of the genes of his great grandsire, Betro of Classlochie - Reserve Supreme Champion of the October 1979 Perth Sale where he sold for 16,500 guineas and recorded the second highest 400-day weight on performance test. His granddam is Cannahars Jipsey Yoko Y485 - one of the all-time greatest daughters of Betro of Classlochie and a core female of one of the breed’s greatest and rarest families.

He is twice double-bred to his great grandsire, the famed Rambler of Newcroft, carrying 25% of his genes and thrice double-bred to the noted Ruby of Loanhead. He also traces to Evesund of Dupplin, Royal Highland Show Supreme Champion in 1978 and 1979, and Royal Show Supreme Champion in 1978.

Dunlouise Cortachy Boy D137, son of the famous Champagne Cherry Bee B117 by Ashley Eular, is a featured members of the Genex AI Stud and a proven calving-ease and high marbling sire who ranks in the top 1% for $Energy ($EN), with nearly 750 progeny recorded in the Angus Herd Improvement Records (AHIR) program in America along with more than 200 progeny evaluated by ultrasound and more than 200 daughters in production.
